Dr. Engy Al -Ghamrawi, known as the media as “October Doctor”, met today, Wednesday, with the virtue of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, to discuss ways to resolve her existing conflict with the family of her late husband, Khaled Moussa, regarding the inheritance.

Dr. Engy Al -Ghamrawi confirmed in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that a date has been set with the Dispute Resolution Committee in Al -Azhar to discuss the differences related to the legacy of her husband, after the crisis escalated legally.
Dr. Engy Al -Ghamrawi explained that the family of her husband had filed a lawsuit against her calling for a financial compensation of 10 million pounds, claiming that the violation of the terms of a previous reconciliation contract was signed between the two parties in the presence of Dr. Ali Jumaa, the former Mufti of the Republic.
Dr. Engy Al -Ghamrawi added that she in turn resorted to the judiciary and filed more than five legal cases, which included cases to obtain the right to guardianship of the estate, in addition to incitement cases, confirming the issuance of five rulings against one of the forgiveness and a security individual, with a year and a half imprisonment for each of them, along with another ruling against a third security individual with 6 months imprisonment after being convicted of assaulting them.
The October doctor expressed her regret that the family of her husband’s retreat from the implementation of the agreement that took place between them in the presence of Dr. Ali Jumaa, who was to give up the guardianship of her son and hand over the entire legacy, in exchange for leaving her home and waiving all issues.
Dr. Engy Al -Ghamrawi indicated that she is in the process of filing an opposite case against them calling for a similar compensation of 10 million pounds, against the background of their violation of the contract and its dissolution on their part.
