The Governor of the Northern Governorate, Mr. Ali Abdel -Hussein Al -Asfour, held a meeting with the President of the Bahraini Autism Society in the presence of the directors of departments in the governorate, to discuss ways of cooperation to establish a summer program dedicated to the injured in the Autism spectrum under the slogan “a homeland and our king brings us together”, which is hoped to implement in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development, and under the supervision of the association and parents, and the participation of a group of volunteers and the academy of the paramedics, within the framework of implementing the accreditation program Northern health province.
The governor stressed during the meeting that “caring for the people with autism spectrum and their empowerment is part of the conservative commitment to support groups with special needs, and to enhance community partnerships that benefit everyone,” stressing the importance of the continuation of these qualitative programs that keep pace with the aspirations of families and contribute to building the capabilities of the participants within a comprehensive and safe environment, where it was decided to launch the program on Saturday, July 19, 2025 AD and extends for three weeks, where the program will include activities Various aims to integrate people with autism spectrum into society and enhance their behavioral and social skills in a safe and supportive environment.
During the meeting, the President of the Bahraini Autism Association valued the continuous support of the northern province of this category over the past eight years, praising its efforts to achieve societal partnership and enhance the principles of societal integration of people with determination.
