Ahmed Al -Shatouri, head of the local unit of the Tahta Center and City, conducted an inspection tour of wheat silos located in the industrial zone, west of Tahta, to check on the regularity of work inside the silos.

Silos officials explained that the silos operate at full capacity of 60 thousand tons, noting that the construction project of 6 new silos is being implemented with a capacity of 30 thousand tons, which will raise the total storage capacity to 90 thousand tons after the completion of the project.
The wheat silos site in the industrial zone, west of Tahta, the largest at the level of Sohag Governorate, is one of the most prominent storage sites in Upper Egypt.
During the tour, Ahmed Mahmoud Hassan, Vice President of the city, Mahmoud Ahmed Al -Sayed Ali, head of the village of Nazlet Al -Qadi, Muhammad Abdul Naeem, was accompanied by financial and administrative inspection, engineer Mohamed Ali, in the engineering administration, and Mahmoud Jaber, director of public relations in the local unit.
They were received by the Silos officials, Eng. Shehata Al -Ashry Zaid, Director of Receipt and Storage, Engineer Ali Mohamed Mahmoud, Director of Silos, and a number of workers.
This was in the context of the directives of Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, to follow up on the progress of vital projects, and an affirmation of the importance of the industrial zone and the silos of the grain west of Tahta
