The performance of the Israeli army fell inside Gaza
The commission indicated that the decline in the performance of the Israeli army inside Gaza, and the erosion of its combat ability, is one of the most prominent reasons that drive Netanyahu, along with the Chief of Staff of the Army, Eyal Zamir, towards ending the war.
Zamir, the Prime Minister, recently briefed on field details “that cannot be ignored” regarding the situation of forces on the ground, according to the same source, as these developments come at a time when regional and international efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and end military operations in the sector are intensified.
