Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement in the English language in which he claims to continue to cooperate to enter aid to Gaza, in a new step to cover up the crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza, impose hunger and prevent aid to the residents of the afflicted sector.
In his statement addressed to Western countries, Netanyahu claimed that Israel will continue to work with international agencies, as well as the United States and European countries to ensure that humanitarian aid is widely reached in the Gaza Strip.
Israel is besieging Gaza and imposing famine on its residents
While several countries are pressuring to enter humanitarian aid to Gaza, Israel closes all crossings with the Gaza Strip, and deliberately delayed aid trucks to impose hunger on its residents.
On Monday morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the registration of 14 deaths in the sector’s hospitals during the past 24 hours, as a result of famine and malnutrition.
Thus, the total number of deaths caused by famine and malnutrition rises to 147 cases, including 88 children.
For his part, Tom Fletcher, United Nations Relief Coordinator, warned Monday that the coming days will be decisive to the humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
