His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, emphasized that the 2030 Youth City is a realistic translation of the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, in the field of empowering youth and activating their role in supporting comprehensive national development, indicating that empowering young people, developing their skills, developing their capabilities and supporting their innovations represents the essence of the national and governmental approach headed by His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at preparing a qualified national generation and able to lead the future efficiently and competently.
This came during his visit to Youth City 2030, in the presence of the Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Ayman Al -Moayad, and Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan Tawfiqi.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa explained that investing in young energies is the winning bet to make a prosperous and sustainable future, pointing out that empowering young people through qualitative training and modern knowledge opens a broader horizons for them for active participation in the national development process.
His Highness praised the distinguished programs and the advanced training content offered by the Youth City 2030, stressing that the successive successes that the city has achieved over the past years reflects the safety of its orientation, which made it a leading regional reference in supporting and empowering young people.
His Highness said: “The 2030 Youth City has become a model for a role in making opportunities for young people, and today it embodies an inspiring development experience that young men and women are racing to join, because of its qualitative opportunities that contribute to building the leadership personality, and reinforcing their capabilities to go through the future with confidence and being able, and that what we have touched from innovative and distinguished programs, in addition to the wide participation of young people, strengthens our conviction of the importance of continuing to establish the city of Youth 2030 in years in years Next, while preserving the high training pattern that meets the aspirations of young people, and qualifies them to face the challenges of the future with confidence and competence.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the most prominent city programs that include 5 main centers: science and technology, arts and culture, leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, sports and health, which provide more than 5500 training opportunities, within 195 specialized programs, along with 84 pioneering projects, and 150 accompanying activities, all of which are managed with high efficiency by 248 Volunteer and volunteer from Bahraini youth cadres.
