The Football Association and the Colombian Oscar Ruiz, head of the main referees committee of the Football Association, will decide the new formation of the committee during the next few days, in conjunction with the return of the Colombian expert to Cairo after an absence period that exceeded a month and a half.
Al -Hanafi is close to the membership of the Referees Committee
Sources revealed to Cairo 24 that the retired international referee Mohamed Al -Hanafi is close to joining the new formation of the main referees committee of the Football Association.
The sources added that Al -Hanafi was recently nominated on the Colombian Oscar Ruiz to include the membership of the Referees Committee in the new season, and the Colombian expert expressed a welcome to the idea of including Al -Hanafi to form the committee that is expected to be approved in the coming days.
The referee, Muhammad Al -Hanafi, recently announced his final retirement from the arbitration after a long career in the stadiums, in which it exceeded 20 years in which the previous referee has managed many matches in various local competitions.
It is expected that the next few days will witness a session between Oscar Ruiz and the officials of the Football Association to resolve the new formation of the referees committee, at a time when a direction prevails within the Board of Directors of the Football Association to give the Colombian expert complete freedom in choosing the assistant formation for him in the committee in the new season.
Oscar Ruiz traveled to the United States in early June, where he participated in the referees preparation camp who participated in managing the Club World Cup matches, and the FIFA usually used the Colombian Ruiz in the referees preparation camps before the major international championships as one of the most prominent refereeing lecturers of FIFA.
