Al -Malab newspaper – Veteran Croatian Luka Modric is on the threshold of moving to Milan this summer, to support the ranks of the Rossoneri next summer.
On Wednesday, Modric played the last match with Real Madrid, when his team lost (4-0) against Paris Saint-Germain in the World Cup semi-finals.
Trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Mercato expert, said through his official account on the “X” platform that Modric will officially move to Milan during the next few hours.
“Luka Modric to Milan. The deal was made as we indicated exclusively in June.”
Romano confirmed that Modric has signed a one -year contract with the Italian club, extending until June 2026, to join the team after the end of his participation with Real Madrid in the Club World Cup, as he was previously planned.
With this step, the curtain is on a legendary career for the Croatian star with Real Madrid, which has extended since 2012, during which he achieved all possible titles, most notably the Champions League 6 times, and the Golden Ball in 2018.
