Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Holding Company, stressed that the private sector is an essential pillar in advancing economic development and creating more qualitative opportunities for citizens, pointing to the role of entrepreneurs in enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the map of global entrepreneurship, through their quality projects based on creativity and innovation, pointing to the continuous keenness of the Kingdom to provide an environment. An incubator and stimulating entrepreneurship, and continuing to work to provide programs and initiatives that contribute to the development of emerging institutions, and enhance their readiness for growth and competition in various sectors, in order to support the comprehensive development process goals led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In this regard, he stressed the prominent role played by the “Tamkeen” work fund in supporting employment, training, job development and strengthening the entrepreneurial system by continuing to adopt qualitative initiatives and programs, which come in light of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of the Labor Fund.
This came at the presence of the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Holding Company, the ceremony of announcing the winners of the (Best Step August) competition in its second edition, in the presence of Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, Khaled Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Bahrain Holding Company, and a number of officials, where each of the announcement was announced. “Brukior” and “Barsel” on the first positions in the competition, which comes in the context of keenness to support promising Bahraini projects and enable entrepreneurs to contribute effectively to achieving economic growth and diversifying income sources in a way that provides the wheel of economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that the (Best Style August) competition is one of the initiatives that would contribute to supporting innovation and encouraging emerging projects to expand and compete regionally and internationally, by providing investment and support that enables it to find qualitative job opportunities, and enhance the Kingdom’s position as an attractive center for business and investment.
On this occasion, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mamkalakat, stated: “Mumtalah aims to invest in promising local projects with the aim of contributing to the development and development of the national economy and enhancing the position of the leading Kingdom of Bahrain regionally and internationally as a center of innovation and leading projects, as well as contributing to providing specific job opportunities for national competencies.”

This is in line with this partnership between the property and the “Tamkeen” labor fund to support the (Best Step for Year) initiative with the strategic priorities of the Labor Fund for the year 2025, which is to enhance the position and competitiveness of the Bahraini citizen, and to provide Bahrainis with the appropriate skills for job development in the private sector, as well as granting priority for the growth, convenience and sustainability of institutions.
Regarding the winning projects, “Brocural” is a digital platform based on the cloud for commercial tenders, which employs innovation in purchases by linking buyers to a variety of sellers, and the “Parils” platform is a platform for providing solutions and delivery services for homes and small companies in the Kingdom.
The competition was organized for the second year in a row under the auspices of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, “Mumtalakat”, the sovereign wealth fund for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the “Tamkeen” labor fund, accordingly, the two companies will obtain a direct investment of property according to specific controls and conditions that are agreed upon, in a way that contributes to accelerating their journey towards more growth and development.
The (Best Start August for Year) competition comes in its second edition as part of the journey of the qualifying institutions for the competition in the Best Start August competition in the year. 12 winners were chosen.
The tours include a training program to develop their offers against potential investors, and to obtain the appropriate guidance in a way that enhances their opportunities to better present their projects.
