In the achievement of an honorable athlete, the people of Menoufia Governorate kidnapped the spotlight during their participation in the African Karate Championship 2025, which is hosted by the Nigerian capital Abuja, with the wide participation of African teams.
The heroes are winning two gold and bronze in the Africa Karate Championship
The heroine, Habiba Issa, managed to win the gold medal in the Kumiette -54 kg, after an exceptional performance that led her to crown the honor platform, amid a technical praise from the Egyptian mission and technical observers.
The hero Jamal Saeed also starred and was crowned with the Kouletieh golden -70 kg, achieving a deserved victory in all his matches, which reflects the extent of his technical and physical readiness, and confirms the superiority of the Egyptian Karate School in the junior categories.
The hero Moaz Al -Saqa achieved the bronze medal in the Komette competition -57 kg, after a distinguished career with strong confrontations against players from ancient African schools, to add a new achievement for the balance of Egypt in the tournament.
The name of Mahmoud Tamer Abu Arab was not absent from the list of the distinguished, as it came in the seventh place in the Komette competition -55 kg youth, which is an advanced position in light of the fierce competition, and confirms his strong presence among the elite players at the continent level.
The credit for this brilliance is due to the great effort made by the technical staff of the Egyptian team for the juniors, under the leadership of the coach, Dr. Abdel -Khaleq Issa, the general coach of the team, Captain Alaa Al -Zarqani, and the coach of the team, Captain Hani ElBaradei, who worked to prepare the players technically and physically in a distinct way that was reflected in the strong performance and the achieved medals.
These results reflect the advanced position occupied by Menoufia Governorate in the field of karate, and the young talents capable of representing Egypt and raising its flag in continental and international forums.
