Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of the Interior, issued a decision appointing Major General Ayman Al -Hamzawy as Director of Red Sea Security, as part of the movement of police officers for the year 2025, which focused on supporting young competencies and enhancing security performance by combining professional experience and modern trends in training and rehabilitation.

It is worth noting that Major General Ayman Al -Hamzawy worked earlier, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and also worked as the director of the Giza Investigation, and he also has extensive experience in combating crime.
The movement of promotions and transfers of police officers for 2025 came in line with the state’s policy and directions in the escalation of youth elements to maximize their benefit in all areas of security work, and to prepare a new generation of future police leaders.
In this regard, the most prominent movement indicators came as follows:
• The escalation of a number of the minister’s assistants to succeed those who have reached the legal age.
• Enhancing security directorates and mass service agencies with distinguished elements, in terms of the highest performance rates in providing security services to citizens.
• Taking into account the social and health conditions of the officers within the framework of the rules, in order to achieve social, psychological and functional stability.
