The Colombian star Louis Diaz closed his career page with Liverpool, after the club announced his official departure to Bayern Munich, depositing the “Reds” fans after three and a half seasons bus with exceptional titles and moments, most notably the Corering of the Premier League in its last season.
A fiery start and a contribution to a historical quad
Louis Diaz arrived in Liverpool from Porto in January 2022, and he quickly imposed himself thanks to his speed and various offensive skills, to play a major role in a season that witnessed fierce competition for all tournaments. Diaz suffered a severe knee injury at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season, to stop its launch temporarily, contenting with participating in 21 games during that season. Despite the absence, the Colombian star returned stronger in the following season after he got the number 7 shirt, to start a new journey with the team, which witnessed a clear development in his artistic level.

Constant brilliance and remarkable numbers
During the last two seasons, Diaz participated in 101 games in the Liverpool shirt, during which he scored 30 goals and made 10, and was a decisive element in crowning the team in the League Cup in the 2023-2024 season. With the changing technical leadership with the departure of Juergen Klopp and the Dutchman’s assumption of the mission, Diaz turned from a wing to an explicit attacker, to appear at a distinguished level.

The 2024-2025 season witnessed Diaz’s brilliance, as it led the Liverpool attack towards achieving the Premier League title, the achievement that was achieved before the end of the season with four rounds. The Colombian star scored 17 goals per season, including 13 goals in the Premier League, including a striking dualism at Manchester United at Old Trafford, and a great trilogy against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
