Local development directs the governors to expand the implementation of one -day markets to provide strategic goods for citizens

Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, directed the conservatives in coordination with the authorities concerned with the Ministry of Supply, Internal Trade, Agriculture, Land Reclamation, the private sector and private societies in the governorates to expand the implementation of the one -day markets; In order to reduce intermediate trading episodes while providing and providing goods in various residential gatherings, especially the most in need.

The Minister of Local Development pointed out the importance of continuous follow -up from the conservatives of the basic commodity balances to ensure its availability of consumers in a stable manner in a way that contributes to the stability of the markets and not to increase the prices of any commodity and work to increase the supply and pump goods in all points of sale to the final consumer.

Awad also directed the governors in coordination with all concerned authorities and reviewing the extent of the availability of basic commodities that citizens need in fixed and mobile outlets of each of the Ministry of Supply – Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation – NGOs – the rest of the concerned authorities – the private sector.

The Minister of Local Development directed that committees from the inspection and follow -up sector shared with the participation of the heads of local units, neighborhoods, cities, catering directorates and the authorities concerned with periodic passage on all markets, signs, exhibitions and fixed and mobile outlets to ensure that all strategic commodities required for citizens and take the necessary action towards any party or individuals who monopolize or store the goods and foodstuffs in order to raise prices and not Show it to citizens at their real prices.

Awad pointed out the necessity of implementing temporary and sustainable exhibitions and exhibitions to display and sell goods and products in coordination with the Holding Company for Food Industries and all concerned authorities to meet the needs of citizens, and redistribute moving outlets geographically in the province in a way that meets the needs of citizens in residential areas for the first families with care and areas with high population density, and continue to activate the role of civil societies in displaying and promoting goods and products At reasonable prices, especially in villages and the most popular areas.
