The Italian company Lamborghini for the manufacture of luxury sports cars announced today, Wednesday, a slight decrease in its operational income in the first half of 2025, despite the delivery of record numbers of cars to customers, as a result of the effects of currency fluctuations on their net profits.
Lamborghini’s operating profits declined in the first half
Its operational income reached 431 million euros about 497 million dollars from January to June, compared to 458 million euros in the same period last year, and this is mainly due to unfavorable exchange rate trends in the second quarter, according to the company in a statement.
The net revenues amounted to 1.62 billion euros during the period, as the automotive company, affiliated to the German company Volkswagen, delivered 5,681 cars, which is its highest number ever in the first half of the year.
The company’s operating profit margin decreased to 26.6% from 28.3% in the previous year.
The results confirmed that the validity of the decision to produce all the Hybrid Lamborghini cars, which is evident from the success of the Rivoelto sports car, is the first rechargeable hybrid car, which was launched in 2023, and the SE sporty car sports car.
