Apple is preparing to unveil the series “iPhone 17” next September, with prominent improvements in screen design and devices specifications, according to leaks published by the Digital Chat Station on the “Weibo” platform.
The leaks indicate that all “iPhone 17” models, including the new “iPhone 17 Air”, will come with ultra -thin edges, a design that was first presented at the iPhone 16 Pro and “Pro Max”.
Improvements are also awaited in the design of “Dynamic Island”, as Apple is expected to offer a new interface to it via iOS 26, it will be exclusive to this series. It is also taking place about reducing the material pieces of the island, but the timing of this update has not yet been decided.
Other reports indicate that the “iPhone 17 Pro Max” will use “Metalens” lenses to reduce the size of the dynamic island, in preparation for Apple’s future vision in providing phones with a full screen without any openings.
Looking at the upcoming “iPhone 18” series in 2026, the combination of the Face ID technology under the screen is likely to gradually reduce the dynamic island.
The expected iPhone 17 specifications include: a new aluminum frame, camera improvements, new color options, and various storage capacities. IPhone 17 Air will also carry a battery less than 3000 mAh, supported by a new adaptive energy system.
In a parallel context, “Apple” is preparing to enter the folding phone market, at an expected price between 1800 and 2000 dollars, to be the most expensive in the company’s history.
