Follow -up to the Youth City project 2030 since its inception 13 years ago, it finds it passed through the pivotal development stages, as it is a strategic pillar to transform the energies of youth into tangible economic returns, as it started from a sports gathering that embraces young people during the summer vacation period, to a comprehensive incubator for innovation, entrepreneurship and human development, to contribute year after year to supporting the national economy with the most important resource in it, which is the human element.
The visit of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him, came to the city to confirm that it is one of the largest sustainable economic projects with the creative cadres and human resources it contains for ideas and creativity, and in this visit we see the project owner who is keen to follow his details accurately, although he has entrusted the mission of the administration to the closest persons to him and they are the Crown Prince and His Highness the Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty for humanitarian actions and youth affairs Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahraini Olympic Committee, as well as attending the personal representative of His Majesty, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
This crowd from the closest personalities to the leader of the country’s ship confirms the interest of His Majesty the King’s great contributions to the promotion of the national economy, by encouraging entrepreneurship and providing training opportunities that contribute to the acquisition of skills and refinement of capabilities to make young people the perfect choice in the labor market, through 5 main areas: Preparing leaders, science, technology, arts, culture, health, sports, media and entertainment.
These five areas offer Bahraini youth more than 5500 training opportunities, among 195 specialized programs, in addition to 84 pioneering projects, and there is no doubt that these opportunities, specialized programs and entrepreneurial projects, we will see their returns in the national economy in the short and medium term, but what distinguishes these returns is that they are sustainable and expand, and this may be clearly shown in previous copies of the city of youth, there are many success stories. It came out of the womb of this initiative, and contributed to supplying the national economy, creating jobs and achieving concrete societal stability.
The Royal Royal visit was not just a traditional visit, but rather a strategic step aimed at motivating Bahraini youth to work and innovation in multiple fields, and represents direct support from His Majesty to the youth, to reflect the Kingdom’s vision of a bright future that depends on creative youth and the diverse economy, and this intensive presence of the most prominent national figures, officials and businessmen and their presence in the youth region reflects the government’s commitment to the presidency of His Highness the Crown Prince to support the youth Providing the appropriate environment for them for innovation and work, and enhances opportunities for cooperation between the public and private sectors, which contributes to creating new job opportunities and supporting emerging projects.
