The World Health Organization said that the Israeli occupation army attacked the residence of its employees and its main warehouse in the city of Deir Al -Balah in the Gaza Strip on Monday, which led to the undermining of its operations in the Strip.

The United Nations Agency revealed that the residence of its employees was attacked three times, as the air strikes caused a massive fire and damage, which endangered the employees and their families, including children, at risk, adding that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the building, and forced women and children to evacuate on foot towards the quarrels amid violent clashes.
The organization added that the male employees and their family members were tied, stripped of their clothes, immediate interrogation, and inspection at the threat of weapons.
In a post on the “X” platform, the World Health Organization said that two of its employees and two members of their families were arrested, adding that three of them had been released later, while one of the employees remained in detention.
The Director General of the World Health Organization, Tidros Adhanum Jibrissus, called for the immediate release of detained employees and the protection of all its employees.
