The World Health Organization announced today, Saturday, the death of Dr. David Nabaro, the special envoy of the Corona Virus Virus Affairs, at the age of 75, according to Reuters news agency.
Nabaro was one of the most prominent international faces in the face of the Corona’s pandemic since its inception in 2020, as he played a pivotal role in coordinating the global response to the epidemic.

The Director -General of the Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanum Gebrisos, called him a publication via the X platform, describing him as a great global health champion, fierce defender of health equality, and a wise teacher and generous for many around the world.
Nabaro also served as co -manager of the World Health Innovation Institute at the Imperial College London College, and during the peak of the pandemic in 2021, he stressed the importance of international cooperation and support for poor countries, stressing that the health crisis is not similar to anything before in his career.
In 2017, Nabaro was nominated for the position of General Manager of the World Health Organization, and ranked second after Dr. Tedros.
