The Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, received today, Wednesday, a delegation of new Egyptian ambassadors appointed in 27 countries around the world; On the occasion of the start of their diplomatic duties in the capitals of these countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Grand Imam welcomed the new ambassadors of Egypt in the sheikhdom of Al -Azhar, expressing his congratulations to them by appointing ambassadors to Egypt in the countries delegated to them, and calling on God Almighty to help them in performing their new mission in an optimal way.
He said that the honorable Al -Azhar since its foundation was never separated from the reality of the nation, and has remained throughout its long history, despite all the challenges he faced, performing its message to spread the message of moderation and moderation in Egypt and the world, without negligence or relaxation, pointing out that Al -Azhar’s external work to communicate his message to the world is based on a number of axes, led by expatriate students; Where Al -Azhar opens its doors to the study of Arab and legitimate sciences through the scholarships it devotes to various countries of the world, besides granting them the right to study medicine, pharmacy, engineering and other applied science Al -Azhar International Academy for the Training of Imams and Preaches, as well as the opening of many Al -Azhar centers to teach Arabic in a number of countries in the world; To be a nucleus to spread the Arabic language and enhance its spread in this country, as an inherent part of the Al -Azhar message.
The Grand Imam affirmed that the ambassadors of Egypt abroad have an important role in communicating the message of Al -Azhar in an optimal way to the countries in which they work, by overcoming what may happen from the obstacles and difficulties in front of the Al -Azhar missions, graduates, educational institutes and centers to teach the Arabic language in these countries, stressing that success in this is a success for the Egyptian diplomacy in the first place and a strong addition to it, as the Azhar is an authentic part of the power The soft Egyptian abroad, with its tens of thousands of graduates in various countries of the world, and its hundreds of envoys and dozens of educational institutes that aim to promote the middle Azhari thought and confront extremist ideas around the world.

His eminence also touched on the tragedy of Gaza, and the suffering that its people lived in, not we have seen the same in contemporary history, noting that Gaza, and for nearly two full years, is exposed to genocide by various means; Like killing, starvation, bombing, displacement, etc., and it is strange that we find someone who justifies this human tragedy, which led to the loss of those who justify the back, who are based on the allegations of protecting human rights and other false claims that are not equal to the ink that were written in it, indicating that Al -Azhar does not hesitate to provide support to Gaza, and to define what its people suffer from the tragedy, along with the tragedy of many caravans. For their part, the new ambassadors of Egypt expressed their happiness to meet the virtue of the Grand Imam, and their appreciation for the great role that his eminence plays in spreading moderation and moderation, and devoting the values of dialogue and brotherhood, noting that they are fully aware of the prominent position of Al -Azhar in Egypt and the world, expressing their hope that they will contribute to overcoming what Al -Azhar may face from the performances And play the role assigned to him in various countries of the world.
The new ambassadors appreciated the unprecedented effort made by the virtue of the Grand Imam to develop Al -Azhar, and to enhance his historical role, that middle Islamic reference, to continue its important role in introducing the middle Islamic thought, expressing their appreciation for the role of Al -Azhar in supporting the Palestinian issue, not only by pressing the Palestinian people to obtain their rights, but also by raising awareness of the role of free peoples in supporting our brothers in Palestine.
