The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the stopping of the entire dialysis service in the Al -Shifa Medical Complex, as a result of running out of fuel, forcing the medical crews to suffice with providing intensive care services for limited hours only.
Warning of the collapse of the health system
The Ministry confirmed in a press statement today, Tuesday, that the continuation of the lack of fuel means “the inevitable death of all patients and wounded in hospitals”, in light of the complete deficit in the energy needed to operate medical devices.
Israel’s district policy increases the crisis
The ministry pointed out that this worsening health catastrophe comes as a result of the “regional policy” that Israel follows in providing hospitals with fuel, which led to a suffocating and continuous crisis that affected all medical services in the sector.
Urgent appeal to the international community
The Ministry of Health renewed its appeal to international institutions and humanitarian parties to quickly intervene, and work to protect the remaining health system in Gaza from complete collapse, by providing urgent medical supplies and fuel.
A bloody outcome of the Israeli aggression
Israel has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of October 2023, which led to the death and injury of about 190,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 11 thousand missing, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands amid a famine that killed many, including dozens of children.
