Al -Malab newspaper – Dino Toubmuller, coach of the German team, Eintracht Frankfurt, revealed the large impact of the departure of the Egyptian star Omar Marmoush to the ranks of Manchester City, in the middle of last season.

Marmoush moved to the English Premier League last January, after a remarkable half season with Frankfurt, where Spain’s coach Pep Guardiola kidnapped him, thanks to the distinguished levels offered by the young player.

Toubmuller said in press statements that Marmoush formed a distinctive offensive duo with his French colleague Hugo Ekteciki, stressing that their harmony on the field had a positive impact on the team’s performance.

The coach explained that the presence of Marmoush forced veteran midfielder Mario Gotze to play on the parties, which added an offensive diversity for the team, before Gotze returned to his natural position in the middle of the field after the Egyptian player’s departure.

Change the plan after leaving
The coach indicated that after Marmoush moved to Manchester City, Frankfurt relied on the game plan 4-2-3-1, which helped the team to settle again and the appearance of the players in a distinctive physical and mental state.

During just half a season with Frankfurt, Marmoush presented amazing numbers, as he contributed to scoring 24 goals in just 17 games, to confirm his worth of moving to one of the largest European clubs.

Although Marmoush left the middle of the season, Frankfurt managed to continue his strong results, and won third place in the German League, to reserve the Champions League qualification card for the next season.
