For the third day in a row, the beaches of Hurghada witnessed the decline of beaches due to the phenomenon of the islands, as sea water receded from public beaches and tourist resorts for tens of meters.

This phenomenon caused the appearance of large areas of the ground on the beach, and revealed new scenes of marine organisms and coral reefs that are usually covered with water.
The phenomenon of islands is one of the continuous natural phenomena that occur daily in the Red Sea, and it is linked to the tidal movement resulting from the effects of gravity between the earth, the moon and the sun, and specifically, the phenomenon of the islands occurs due to differences in the gravitational forces that affect the sea water, which leads to the decline in water from the beaches.
The water receding from the beaches is an opportunity for the appearance of coral reefs and marine shells that are usually covered with water.
The tidal phenomenon occurs periodically as a result of the common influences of the moon and the sun, and the Earth’s rotation movement. Dar added that the tide phenomenon occurs when the water level rises on the beaches, and the height of the water can reach more than two meters at times.
