Tourism Minister Fatima Al -Seraf confirmed that the “Bahrain Marina” project represents an important tributary to enhance the tourism infrastructure in Bahrain, and contributes to diversifying the recreational and investment options, in order to support efforts to develop the tourism sector and raise its contribution to the gross domestic product, by providing integrated facilities that meet the aspirations of citizens, residents and visitors.
This came, during an inspection visit made to the “Bahrain Marina” website, where it was seen on the progress of work in the various facilities of the project, which is characterized by its strategic location in the heart of the capital, Manama, specifically on the eastern waterfront, as well as its multiple elements, including the luxurious residential building, restaurants and shops, along with the maritime club and the Marina.
Al -Serafi pointed out that the project that has a golden license represents a model for investment in the tourism sector, and is considered one of the strategic projects in Bahrain, pointing to the great attention the government attaches to projects that contribute to strengthening the investment environment, and contributes to attracting more new partnerships, and provides promising opportunities for citizens, in addition to its role in continuing to push economic development paths towards more advanced levels in a way that enhances competitiveness The Kingdom of Bahrain and its position on the regional and international tourism map.
She added that “Bahrain Marina” is one of the main projects that fall within the facades and marine activities, which are one of the basic pillars in the tourism sector strategy 2022-2026, given the attractive beaches and coastal nature of Bahrain, confirming that the development of these sites is a direct investment in enhancing the visitor’s experience.
It also indicated the importance of developing aspects of cooperation with partners in the public and private sectors to ensure the sustainability and integration of tourism projects, in a way that contributes to achieving the main goals and indicators included in the strategy.
For his part, the Chairman of Bahrain Marina Development Company, Riyad Satter, welcomed the visit of the Minister of Tourism, noting the great support that the project enjoys from various concerned authorities, expressing his pride in what has been achieved in the project so far.
He stressed that “Bahrain Marina” embodies an ambitious vision to enhance the investment and tourism environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, by providing an integrated environment in which the quality of life is harmonious with architectural design and advanced facilities.
In turn, the Acting CEO of Bahrain Marina Hisham Al -Moayad said: “We see in Bahrain Marina in the future promising to its residents and visitors, thanks to the modern and modern lifestyle that provides rest, innovation, and the quality of living. It is noteworthy that “Bahrain Marina” is one of the most prominent development projects in Bahrain, as it extends over an area of more than 250 thousand square meters, and includes luxurious residential facilities, a commercial complex, a naval club, and a global level marina, as well as hotel units and green spaces, which makes it an integrated destination for living, investment and entertainment in the heart of the capital, Manama.
