Ahmed Kajuk, Minister of Finance, said that Egypt opens its doors to everyone with promising and varied economic opportunities, and targets a more profound partnership with global financial institutions and investors for a more competitive economy.
Kjok stressed, at the opening session of Egypt’s Day on the London Stock Exchange, that Egypt’s Day renews our commitment to transparency and presence in the most important international financial markets, joint work to improve policies and seek new opportunities to attract more investment flows, explaining that Egypt’s Day is a strong opportunity for effective dialogue between all parties, exchange of visions, and building long -term strategic partnerships based on trust and clarity.
He added: What we offer today is not just visions and ideas, but an integrated framework for policies that seeks to remove obstacles to the growth of the private sector, and to achieve greater openness to global innovation and investment, and the success of Egypt’s Day is determined by the practical consequences we achieve together and future partnerships and not only with what we offer on paper.
A new stage of economic reform
Kjok expressed his appreciation for the London Stock Exchange on the extended partnership that reflects the spirit of cooperation between Egypt and the British financial institutions, noting that we are facing a new stage of economic reform, based on financial sustainability, empowering the private sector, and advancing industrial activities and export, where we are working to enhance financial stability and support the initiatives to encourage production, manufacturing and export to stimulate economic growth.
He pointed out that the government is working in full coordination between its institutions to improve the investment climate and enhance confidence in the national economy, and that the economic ministerial group is one very harmonious team, and it works with a more inclusive, consistent and integrated vision, for a clear goal, which is that our economy be more flexible, competitive, attractive to investors and in response to the future and aspiration for development and innovation
