On Sunday evening, the Egypt Olympic team will meet Basket With the Kuwait national team, in its second matches in the 26th edition of the Arab Championship for Men, currently held in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from July to August 2, 2025.
Egypt Olympic Basketball team faces Kuwait in its second confrontation in the Arab Championship in Bahrain
The match will start at four o’clock in the afternoon Cairo time, amid the aspirations of the Pharaohs team to achieve the second consecutive victory, after a strong start in the tournament.
The Egyptian team started its tournament on Saturday by achieving a great victory over the Qatar national team, with a score of 90-69, in a distinguished performance that confirmed the team’s readiness to compete for the Arab title.
The Olympic national team in its list includes a group of young players:
Ahmed Muhib, Ibrahim Hisham, Muhammad Khairi, Moamen Khairi, Muhammad Yasser, Muhammad Ashraf, Omar Talaat, Abdul Rahman Khaled, Mazen Al -Azazi, Ahmed Yasser, Ali Hijazi, Hazem Al -Mashad.
The Egyptian mission in Bahrain is chaired by Ayman Ali Odeh, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, while the technical staff is led by Captain Ahmed Merhi as a technical director, Ahmed Al -Jazzar as a general coach, along with Dr. Walid Al -Kharrat administratively, Dr. Mahmoud Aladdin for physiotherapy, Mohamed Issa Manklouk, and Marwan Fatiha, accompanying.
The tournament will witness the participation of 7 teams: Egypt, Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Tunisia, Algeria, and Bahrain.
The competitions are held in the league system from one round, where the arrangement of the teams is determined according to the number of points achieved, in a fiery race towards the Arab title.
