Egypt maintained its global exports in the exports of the prepared bread powder (HS Code: 210230), with a market share of 20% of the world’s exports, at a value of 48 million dollars and a quantity of 12 thousand tons in 2024, to come in the first place globally, according to the Export Council for Food Industries.

The 5 largest markets imported Egyptian bread powder in 2024:
1. 🇺🇸 USA: $ 13 million (28%)
2. 🇩🇪 Germany: $ 10 million (22%)
3. 🇳🇱 The Netherlands: $ 7 million (14%)
4. UK: 4 million dollars (8%)
5. 🇵🇱 Poland: $ 3 million (6%)
The Export Council indicated that these five countries represent 78% of Egypt’s total exports of baking powder in 2024, which reflects the diversity of imported markets and the confidence of the global consumer in the quality of the Egyptian product.
The Council indicated that the continuation of this distinction puts Egypt in a strong competitive position in the global markets and confirms its ability to meet the needs of the international food industries sector.
