Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, continued the efforts of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade to implement sudden inspection campaigns on markets, bakeries and sales outlets in the various centers and cities of the governorate, in order to control the unknown source goods, and to ensure that the price system is committed and protect the rights of citizens.

The campaigns resulted in the editing of 220 various rationing minutes, with 133 minutes of violations inside the bakeries, and 87 minutes of markets and commercial stores, which included violations of weight loss, lack of commitment to specifications, selling at more than the official price, and not announcing prices.
Define control and unknown source rice in Menoufia
The campaigns were able to seize 5 tons of flour and 2 tons of unknown source rice inside a grocery store in Bandar Ashmoun, and two misdemeanors were edited against the violators. 4 misdemeanors were also edited in areas such as Mashish and Zarqan in the Tala Center for not announcing the prices with the intention of profiting.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed the continued intensification of field control over the markets, the control of violators, and the decisive dealing with any monopolistic practices or commercial fraud cases, with the speed of response to citizens’ complaints in order to preserve their rights.
