Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Luxor Governorate, conducted a surprise tour to the center and city of Armant, south of the governorate, to follow up the work progress in the food and commercial activities, in the context of tightening the control of the markets and activating the mechanisms of field follow -up.
Control huge quantities of subsidized commodities and try to sell them on the black market
Follow -up teams succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle more than 5 tons of subsidized food commodities, which were prepared for sale on the black market in violation of the law, and the seized quantities were seized and immediate records of violators were edited, while notifying the investigation authorities to take the necessary legal measures against them.
The tour targeted the traffic on municipal bakeries in the center of the center, and services to provide services to citizens such as the Technology Center and the Citizen Service Center, accompanied by a number of leaders of the Supply Directorate and the Consumer Protection Agency.
Dr. Tamer Salah stressed that the tour comes in implementation of the assignments of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply, and the directives of Eng. Abdul Muttalib, the building of the Governor of Luxor, regarding the intensification of ration campaigns and the ensuring the commitment of commercial activities to the laws and ration instructions.
The Undersecretary pledged to continue the regulatory campaigns throughout the governorate, to ensure the support of its beneficiaries and deter any violations that affect the food security of the citizens.
