The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority won the “Best Deal in the Middle East and Africa for the year 2024” presented by the “Bergtute Finance International” magazine, which specializes in monitoring and analyzing projects, financial data and deals for projects worldwide. The award won the award for the seawater desalination plant project using the reverse osmosis technology in a compound of peasants with a production capacity of 180 million gallons per day, which is one of the largest projects in the world to produce water by relying on the reverse osmosis technology, and the first project of the authority with an independent water product system with investments of 3 billion and 377 million dirhams.
