Lawyer Ahmed Muhanna, the legal advisor to the Syndicate of Musical Professions, announced that the Syndicate of Musical Professions followed what was stated by the so -called Tariq Al -Shennawi during his appearance on the “Al -Sattat” program on Al -Nahar channel, in which he described the union’s decisions regarding the artist Ragheb Alama as “random” and free from study and logic.
He added, as it was cynical to the union’s leadership and its council in abusive and will, noting that these statements do not fall under professional criticism, but rather represent a defamation, slander and public contempt for the person of the captain of the musicians and members of the union council, which constitutes crimes punishable by the provisions of the Penal Code and the Telecommunications Regulatory Law.
Therefore, the Syndicate of Musical Professions announces that it takes all the deterrent legal measures against the aforementioned, in defense of the dignity of its institutions and members, and in rejection of any abuse that affects its entity or obtains its integrity.
