An official source at the Ministry of Electricity saidRenewable energy The technical teams of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company have made tangible progress in the work of extending the medium voltage cables (66 kV) at the Gold Island Transformers Station, where the extension of two cables has been completed with a total length of about 290 meters and 290 meters.

The source added, during special statements, that the third and last cable, which is 614 meters long, is being started, in preparation for completing the electrical connection system with the station.
He explained that the technical teams are preparing to start the welding work of the first district of the Gold Island Station, as well as the second circle of the Haram transformers station, with the aim of ending the crisis of electricity interruptions that are currently witnessing a number of areas in Giza Governorate, led by the Haram, Faisal and the Makki Cultureose.
The source emphasized that the ministry is following the situation in order to ensure the return of the electrical current stable and safe as soon as possible.
