The Muharraq Nights Festival is a celebration of art, design, fashion, forestry, music, food, activities and tours, which is held along the “Pearl Path” site. The festival coincides with the “Bahrain holidays” season, where it is organized throughout December in the historical neighborhoods of the city, to celebrate the national holidays of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The festival aims to create a valuable platform for cultural coordination and interactive creative exchange, which contributes to promoting the areas of culture, heritage, and design, by empowering the local community and encouraging it to interact with the “pearl path: a witness to the island’s economy”, and get to know its importance as a global heritage site registered in the UNESCO list. It also seeks to highlight the rich cultural and urban identity of the historical city of Muharraq, through cooperation with the curators, artists, designers, musicians, and creative groups to produce exhibitions and joint experiences. The event is also an opportunity to promote Bahraini heritage, support the local community, and contribute to achieving a sustainable economic return.
