Partial fall of the infantry bridge in Toukh
The Qaliubiya Governorate witnessed, on Friday morning, the fall of a part of a pedestrian bridge in Toukh, on the top of the agricultural road (Egypt – Alexandria), after a portable bulldozer collided on a square in the bridge body, without the accident from any human losses or injuries, and damage to the vehicles passed under the bridge was recorded at the moment of collision.
The accident led to a partial closure of the agricultural road within the scope of the accident.
Engineer Ayman Attia, the governor of Qaliubiya, moved to the location of the incident immediately to follow the situation in the field, explaining that the collision caused the bridge to remove from its place without its collapse, which requires immediate intervention to secure the site and ensure the safety of citizens.
