This came in conjunction with the announcement of the Royal Medical Services of performing 100 successful surgeries using the “Hugo RAS” system, in a medical achievement added to the record of continuous successes, and confirms its leadership in keeping pace with the latest developed and developed modern medicine.
This achievement represents a culmination of the efforts to unify the royal medical services and provide safe and effective health care, while maintaining the continuity of providing services efficiently, and remarkably accelerating the hospitalization and recovery procedures after operations.
The Hugo RAS system is one of the most prominent innovations in the field of robotic surgery, as it provides a high degree of accuracy, flexibility and control, outperforming what is available in traditional surgeries. The system consists of a 3D camera and four automatic arms equipped with accurate surgical tools, enabling the surgeon to perform remote operations using a control panel and a high -resolution screen, allowing a clear vision of the patient’s body, reduces the risk of infection, and improves surgery results in general.
The operations carried out using this advanced system included accurate interventions in the majors of urinary tract, general surgery, women and obstetrics, where operations such as the radical and partial college eradication, the radical prostatectomy, and the larger of the ureter were carried out, along with operations in general surgery such as fierce repair of all kinds, colon surgery, and TATME surgery, in addition to women’s operations that included removing ovarian bags, And hysterectomy, and homosexuality. All of these operations were carried out with the help of the robot, and have achieved distinct results without significant complications.
