Our national team was subjected to its second loss in the Arab Championship of Men’s Basketball Team in its twenty -sixth edition, which is held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, after losing from its Tunisian counterpart, with a score of 97 opposite 86, in the meeting that brought them together at the Khalifa Sports City Hall.
At the beginning of the match, our national team was able to impose its progress on its opponent, the Tunisian team, thanks to the good defense to score successful and successive points, but soon the Carthage Eagles returned and reduced the difference, and they succeeded in moving towards achieving victory for their benefit.
After this loss, the task of competing for the Arab title has become difficult for our team, as it requires that several teams be exposed to the loss in the upcoming confrontations, which is very difficult.
On the other hand, the third day of the championship competitions witnessed Algeria’s victory over the UAE with a score of 99 opposite, along with Egypt’s victory over Kuwait 96 opposite 65.
All teams will be subjected to comfort today, Monday, after the competitions were played for three consecutive days, to resume on Tuesday with three confrontations that bring together Algeria and Qatar at four o’clock in the afternoon, and then the Emirates and Tunisia meet at six o’clock in the evening, with our team face its Egyptian counterpart at eight o’clock in the evening.
