British Foreign Secretary, David Lami, described the recent Russian strikes on Ukraine as “the widest night attack” since the beginning of the war, stressing that Moscow had brought a “horrific, new number”.

In a post on the “X” platform, Lami explained that Russia launched a seven -hour attack with aircraft on the Ukrainian capital Kiev, in an unprecedented escalation of violence.

The British minister accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of killing more than 1,000 civilians this year alone, in addition to injuring 4000 people.
An invitation to a ceasefire immediately
Lami called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, in light of what he described as the deterioration of the humanitarian situation and the continued targeting of innocent civilians.
