Former US President Joe Biden signed a deal to publish his presidential memoirs with the American Publishing House Hashit Publishing Group, for an introduction batch of about $ 10 million, according to the Wall Street Journal reported on informed sources. The newspaper pointed out that the publication of the book will be through Little, Brown and Partners, which is affiliated with the Hashit House, without specifying an official date for its issuance so far. The book is expected to address the details of the period that Biden spent at the White House, during his presidential term from January 2021 to January 2025. Biden, 82, had stated on an occasion held during this July, that he is working hard to prepare notes, indicating that the focus will be on his most prominent presidential stations, and the challenges and transformations that included it. According to the newspaper’s report, the value of the deal signed by Biden is less than the deals of former US presidents, as former President Barack Obama and his wife Michel obtained a deal worth about $ 60 million with Benguene Random House Publishing in 2017.
As for former President Bill Clinton, he received about $ 15 million from Alfred A. Knouf versus his “My Life” memoirs, which was issued in 2004. In contrast, former President Donald Trump has not yet issued official memoirs until now after the end of his first term.
