West Asian teams for men in volleyball are preparing to compete in a strong championship that will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from 19 to 26 July, on the land of the Issa bin Rashid sports hall in Rafaa.

The masses are awaiting the launch of this important regional event, which is a competitive station that brings together a group of aspiring teams, at a time when optimism and enthusiasm prevails in our aspiring national team to achieve an honorable participation worthy of its position as a champion of the last version of the Asian Nations Championship.

In the context of extensive preparations, Ali Al -Sayed, the director of our national volleyball team, stressed that the atmosphere of seriousness, discipline and responsibility is currently prevalent within the team, noting that the players are living in a maximum focus moments in order to provide the best possible levels on their land and among their fans.

Al -Sayed said in his statements: The national team is currently in a state of harmony and mental and physical readiness, everyone is aware of the importance of this tournament, it is true that it is not classified within the Greater Asian Championship, but we give it full respect, and we believe that any competition carries with it a moral and technical value, especially when it is held on the homeland and among our loyal fans.

The team manager pointed out that the biggest challenge facing the team is to move from the position of the hero crowned at the continent level to entering into a regional championship, which requires more focus and mental balance, so the eyes will be overwhelmed by us, and expectations are high, so we strive to maintain the stability of performance and the strength of mental presence throughout the championship period.

Al -Sayed also stressed the importance of the mass attendance, describing the Bahraini audience as “the seventh player”, which makes the difference in the most difficult moments, saying: Our fans were the true bond in the Asian Championship, their inspiring presence in the Issa bin Rashid hall was not just moral support, but rather a decisive factor in achieving the title, today we need them again, we need their throats, applause, and cheering.

Al -Sayyid concluded his speech with a message directly to the Bahraini masses: “We count a lot on your presence in the stands, the team plays for the sake of the homeland, and every player carries in his heart the passion for happiness of this people.
