Media reports revealed new developments in Bayern Munich negotiations, to sign Lewis Diaz Liverpool player during the current summer transfers.
Bayern Munich offers a new offer to include Diaz from Liverpool
According to Florian Pltinberg, a Sky Sport journalist, Bayern Munich made a new offer to Liverpool, with a value of more than 67.5 million euros for the contract with the Colombian Louis Diaz.
The journalist said through his account on X, that the talks between the two clubs are ongoing, as Diaz announced his desire to join the ranks of Bayern Munich, and is awaiting an agreement between the two clubs.
He concluded that if Bayern Munich reached an agreement with Liverpool, Diaz will sign a contract until 2029, amid possibilities of failure of the deal.
Previous media reports revealed that Bayern Munich’s new offer had reached 70 million euros, in addition to additional rewards and future items, such as a percentage of resale, especially if the player later moves to the Saudi League.
Liverpool has previously rejected Bayern Munich’s first offer to buy Diaz, which reached 67.5 million euros, where the total new offer is expected to reach 80 million euros, including incentives.
While the German newspaper Bild said that Bayern Munich ended his agreement with Diaz on personal items, as the player will sign a contract that extends for 4 years until the summer of 2029, with an annual salary of 14 million euros, which can be increased through performance rewards.
