Bahrain Airport Services Company (Bass) has announced the launch of the second edition of its summer program, which is intended for high school students. It aims to introduce them to the work system within the aviation sector, and to enhance their professional awareness towards various fields of ground services.
The program is part of the long -term “Bass” strategy concerned with investing in the energies of Bahraini youth, by giving them a field educational experience that enriches their knowledge and expanded their professional horizons, and places them at the heart of operational operations at Bahrain International Airport, where Bass is the main provider of these services.
The program extends over two weeks, from 20 to 31 July 2025, and includes an integrated schedule of interactive tours and practical workshops, where students visit various departments that include travelers services, air operations, catering, shipping, and other strategic units in the work chain inside the airport, under the direct supervision of the “Bass” operating teams.
In this context, Hana Abdel Wahed, CEO of Human Resources at Bass, stated: “Take -f reflects our continuous commitment to preparing young people and young people-who possess the incentive and a serious desire to learn-and enable them to discover future opportunities in the aviation sector. The program provides the participants with an opportunity to meet experts and specialists from the aviation sector, see the operational models, and get to know the daily tasks that contribute to ensuring the efficiency of operations and the safety of passengers, as part of an integrated experience that combines the educational and practical sides. When the program’s requirements will receive a certificate of participation from the Bass Company, in appreciation of their commitment and active participation.
