The University College of Bahrain has announced the opening of registration for the academic year 2025-2026, in a move that reflects its continuous keenness to support the higher education process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to provide an integrated academic environment that contributes to preparing a generation of scientifically and practically qualified graduates.
The university offers an integrated set of distinguished academic programs that meet the aspirations of students in the Bachelor and Master’s degrees. In the undergraduate stage, the university offers several programs, which are Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with multiple paths that include: management, financing, accounting, marketing, and Islamic finance, along with a Bachelor of Literature in Communication and Multiple Media that includes public relations, graphic design and multimedia. It also offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in Computer Science and Administrative Information Systems, as these various programs contribute to enhancing students’ skills in the technical fields required in the labor market.
As for the postgraduate stage, the university provides the opportunity for students to join the Master of Business Administration program, which includes many paths that meet the modern needs of various sectors, namely: Business Administration, Islamic Finance, Administrative Information Systems, Financial and Banking Sciences, Marketing and International Business Administration, these flexible academic options have a prominent role in enhancing the analytical and administrative capabilities of students.
It is worth noting that the University College of Bahrain holds institutional accreditation from the Higher Education Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which confirms its fulfillment of all the criteria for academic accreditation, in addition to its inclusion in the list of universities recommended by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which reflects the vast regional confidence that the university enjoys.
Based on its vision in supporting academic excellence and promoting community partnership, the university was keen to enhance its partnerships with a number of financial institutions in the Kingdom to provide facilitated financing programs, help students who wish to join the university to cover the costs easily and flexibly.
The university is also keen to provide a number of scholarships to academic students who excel, in the context of encouraging them to continue their educational achievement and motivating them to excel and continue their career.
These steps are an extension of the efforts of the University College of Bahrain to consolidate its position as a leading educational institution in Bahrain and the region, where it places the student at the core of its priorities, and seeks to provide an innovative modern education, based on solid scientific foundations, and enhances students’ opportunities to obtain prestigious jobs, and contribute effectively to the development of their societies.
The university attaches special attention to encouraging scientific research and developing its culture, as it recently organized the “Second International Conference” under the slogan “The Future of Business Support: Innovation for a Green Tomorrow”, with the participation of more than 200 researchers from different countries of the world, where the conference witnessed active contributions from the members of the academic body and college students in presenting various scientific papers.
Dr. Rana Sawaya, President of the University, confirmed that the university places its top priorities to provide an advanced educational environment through modern academic halls and laboratories equipped with the latest technologies in addition to providing knowledge culture for students through the presence of the printed and electronic library, which enhances students’ skills and motivates them to research and innovation.
It also indicated that the university is keen to attract a group of qualified academic competencies, and is constantly seeking to develop its programs in line with global technical changes, in addition to holding strategic partnerships with leading international universities.
She added that the university believes in the importance of investing in the human element, and works to provide all the ways that enable students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations in a stimulating and comprehensive educational environment.
It also indicated that the university puts within its academic plans the field training program that obliges students to train in prestigious companies and institutions inside and outside the Kingdom, with the aim of linking the theoretical side to practical application, and preparing students to go to the labor market with high confidence and efficiency.
In conclusion, Prof. Sheikh Khalid bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, the founding president and chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed his pride in the achievements achieved by the university, providing many thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, may God protect him, for their continuous support for the higher education process in the Kingdom. It also valued the efforts of the Higher Education Council in supporting and enabling education institutions to provide competitive academic programs that keep pace with the aspirations of development and meet the requirements of the labor market.
He pointed out that these achievements would not have been achieved without the concerted efforts and work in the team’s spirit between the administration and the members of the academic and administrative body, in order to consolidate the university’s status as a leading educational institution at the local and regional levels.
It is noteworthy that the University College of Bahrain has graduated from it over the past years a group of distinguished leaders and graduates who have proven their efficiency in various governmental and private sectors within the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and they were able to assume prestigious leadership positions thanks to the skills and knowledge they gained during their educational career.
