At a cost of 189 million pounds .. The president of the Sohag water company inspects the water stations at the Maragha and Tahta centers

Engineer Mohamed Salah El -Din Abdel Ghaffar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Sohag and Managing Director, conducted an inspection tour to follow up the replacement and renewal work at the Surface Tahta Water Station, the first stage, which is designated by the design of 17 thousand cubic meters per day, within the framework of the field follow -up of service projects.

The cost of the project is about 189 million pounds, as part of the funds of the local development program in Upper Egypt, and the operating experiences of the station are scheduled to start next Saturday, in preparation for pumping water to the people of Tahta.

During his tour, the head of the water company stressed the need to fully adhere to the technical specifications and standard standards in the implementation of business, and adhere to the schedule specified for the completion of the project, in a manner that ensures improving the level of drinking water services provided to citizens.

The inspection tour also included a number of drinking water and sewage stations in the Maragha and Tahta centers, and Eng. Mohamed Salah stressed the importance of adhering to operating and maintenance systems in accordance with standard standards, ensuring the continuous operation of the stations around the clock, taking into account the insurance of the work environment and the application of occupational safety and health procedures and rationalization of energy consumption.

He pointed to the need to ensure the quality of the water produced according to the health specifications, and match the final wastewater to environmental standards, stressing the readiness of workers to deal immediately with any possible emergency, especially with regard to chlorine gas leakage, and ensuring the availability of the necessary equipment for that.
