Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, issued a decision to assign Dr. Mahmoud Omar Abdel -Wahab Ahmed, Director of the Health Affairs Directorate in Minya Governorate, to succeed Dr. Mohamed Nadi.

The decision also included assigning Dr. Marwa Mohamed Ismail Ismail, an undersecretary of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Minya Governorate, as part of the ministry’s plan to restructure health leaders and support the system with new competencies.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel -Wahab is one of the prominent medical and administrative competencies, as he held a number of leadership positions within the health sector, and has a long experience in managing hospitals and health units.
While Dr. Marwa Ismail has extensive experience in administrative and field work, and she has clear contributions to developing health performance in the governorate during the past years.
These decisions come within the framework of the Ministry of Health and Population’s endeavor to enhance the efficiency of the health system in Minya Governorate, and to improve the level of medical services provided to citizens.
