10 Arab countries, including Egypt and the State of Türkiye, issued a joint statement in which they affirmed the support of Syria and its sovereignty and the condemnation of the repeated Israeli attacks on it.
According to a statement published by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Turkish Republic, the Republic of Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Lebanese Republic, and the Arab Republic of Egypt over the past two days, conducted extensive talks on the developments of the situation in Syria and in the context of the one position, and the joint efforts to support the Syrian government in Efforts to rebuild sister Syria on the foundations that guarantee its security, stability, unity, sovereignty and the rights of all its citizens.
A joint Arab statement in support of Syria before the Israeli aggression
The ministers confirmed in a joint statement:
Supporting Syria’s security, unity, stability and sovereignty, and rejecting all external interference in its affairs.
– Welcoming the agreement that was completed to end the crisis in the As -Suwayda Governorate, and to emphasize the necessity of its implementation of Syria, its unity and citizens, and in a manner that injects Syrian blood and guarantees the protection of civilians, state and law.
– Welcoming the commitment of Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara to hold all those responsible for the abuses against the Syrian citizens in the As -Suwayda Governorate, and to support all efforts to extend security, state and law in the As -Suwayda Governorate and in all Syrian land, reject violence, sectarianism, and attempts to spread sedition, incitement and hatred.
– The condemnation of the repeated Israeli attacks on the Syrian Arab Republic and its rejection as a flagrant violation of international law and a blatant attack on the sovereignty of Syria that destabilizes its security, stability, unity and territorial integrity and citizens, and undermines the efforts of the Syrian government to build the new Syria in a way that achieves the aspirations and options of its brotherly people.
Syria’s security and stability is a pillar of regional security and stability and a common priority.
– Call the international community to support the Syrian government in the reconstruction process, and invite the Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from the occupied Syrian territories, to stop all Israeli hostilities on Syria and interfere in its affairs, implement Resolution 2766, and the Confederation of Clash for the year 1974.
