America, Bahrain and Britain launches working groups to cooperate in line with the goals of “C-SIPA”

The Supreme Officer of the Near East Affairs Office, Mora Namdar, hosted the ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and Vice-President of the United Kingdom to the United States of America in Washington, Lucy Ferguson, to celebrate the United Kingdom’s accession to the comprehensive integration and prosperity agreement “C-SIPA”, where the parties intend to launch working groups to enhance strategic cooperation in line with goals “C-SIPA”.

This came, in a joint statement by the governments of the United States of America, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the United Kingdom to celebrate this tripartite partnership, stipulated: “The United States of America, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the United Kingdom announced that the United Kingdom joined the comprehensive integration and prosperity agreement, a framework that aims to enhance the broader integration in the Middle East region, strengthen mutual deterrence against external threats, expand cooperation to enhance security and stability And prosperity in the area. “

“The United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain signed the C-SIPA agreement on September 13, 2023, with a clear intention to welcome other parties in the future. Today we celebrate the United Kingdom’s accession as a third party to C-SIPA, which entered into force on June 19, 2025.”

According to the statement, “C-SIPA is based on historical achievement and the vision of the Ibrahim Principles Agreement that was signed in Washington, DC in September 2020, during the first administration of President Trump, an important framework that creates conditions for documenting security and commercial ties between countries inside and outside the Middle East region that seeks peace and prosperity in the region, and since it joined the Ibrahim Principles Agreement in 2020, Bahrain has been a pioneer and defending the promise of regional integration Akbar.

The United States of America, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom affirms a desire to enhance its strategic cooperation to push the C-SIPA goals under the three main pillars of the agreement: Defense and Security; Economy and trade; Science, technology and network security.

In the context of achieving C-SIPA goals, the parties intend to launch working groups to enhance strategic cooperation in line with the C-SIPA goals, to work towards a future for the Middle East region characterized by greater regional stability, economic cooperation, prosperity, and technological innovation.
