In a precedent added to the record of Bahraini and Gulf women on the global sports arena, a member of the Bahraini Council for Master Master Fajr Al -Binali participated in the work of the Supervisory and Supervisory Committee for the fighting and Bomsi competitions within the Korea Open Taekwondo Championship “classified” the two stars, which was held in the Korean city of Chunchon.
Al -Binali’s choice came within a group of international experts who were entrusted with the task of overseeing the progress of competitions and ensuring the application of the highest standards of integrity and technical justice, in one of the most prominent championships on the agenda of the International Federation.
The championship witnessed a wide participation exceeding 2200 players representing 50 countries from different countries of the world, which was held under the direct supervision of the International Taekwondo Federation, and with the support of Korean sports and governmental institutions, most notably the AFC AFC, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Olympic Committee.
This assignment embodies the advanced position occupied by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of combat games, and at the same time reflects the high efficiency and international appreciation that the dawn of Al -Binali as the first Gulf woman to be chosen to participate in this international sporting event.
Al -Binali has a high international experience that combines technical, administrative and field aspects in various Taekwondo specializations, as it carries credits from the International Federation in arbitration and training in the fields of fighting, Al -Bumsi, and Barataquando, in addition to its international approval as a national category, through which it contributed to the classification of the first Bahraini regiment with different disabilities adopted in the game.
It is also one of the prominent and influencing competencies in the scene of sports governance at the local and regional levels, where it occupied for a period of five years the membership of the Executive Office of the Asian Union of Taekwondo, as the first Bahraini to be elected for this position, and today its active role is continued as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee in addition to its membership in the Bahraini Council for Mutality Games.
On the field level, the status of the dawn of Al -Binali is based on more than ten years of experience as an international player in the fighting and Bomsi, during which she won many qualitative achievements of the Kingdom, and contributed to the establishment of the first Bahraini national team for barsecando in both specializations, and took over his training and leadership to achieve the results of an Asian and global supervisory during a record time period.
On this occasion, the Master Fajr Al -Binali expressed its pride in this confidence from the International Taekwondo Federation, stressing that this mandate constitutes an additional incentive to continue giving and distinguishing in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in international forums.
