In conjunction with the celebrations of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the centenary of the theater, the Abdul Rahman Kano Cultural Center holds the “cup of coffee” with the artist Abdullah Malik, which is discussed by the artist Mohammed Al -Saffar, on Tuesday, August 5, at eight o’clock in the evening, at the center’s headquarters in the lake.
A group of artists, intellectuals, media professionals and friends close to the guest will participate in the session, including: Professor Mohamed Abdel Karim, writer Ibrahim Sanad, Professor Abdulaziz Abdel Hamid, artist Maryam Ziman, artist Youssef Bouhuloul, Professor Jamal Al Saqr, artist Abdullah Suwaid, Professor Omar Abdullah Malik, artist Adel Shams, and others. Where this elite of professors will meet in a friendly atmosphere to talk about the theatrical, artistic and human experience of the artist Abdullah Malik.

On this occasion, Dr. Masoumeh Al -Mutawa, Secretary General of the Abdul Rahman Kano Cultural Center, confirmed that the center is keen to organize various cultural events that reflect the depth of the Bahraini experience and enrich the artistic and cultural scene in the Kingdom. She added that the celebration of the artist Abdullah Malik in this event comes in the context of honoring the symbols of creativity and national giving, especially after his recent honor in the second edition of the Dana Award, which celebrates the creators who left a prominent impact on the cultural and artistic movement.
Al -Mutawa pointed out that the theater is one of the most important measures of culture in society, because of its pivotal role in expressing national identity and promoting cultural awareness, stressing that the center seeks to support this vital culture through renewed activities that contribute to promoting artistic dialogue and exchanging experiences between generations.
And the artist Abdullah Malik is one of the most prominent pioneers of the Bahraini theater, as he contributed to enriching the artistic movement through his various theatrical and television works, and participated in many local and Arab festivals, as well as his contributions to supporting young talents and spreading the culture of theater.
It is worth noting that a cup of coffee cup is an open friendly session between the guest and a group of his colleagues, friends and family, in which dialogue with the guest about his accomplishments, the career of his life and the secrets of his success, while the invitation is public for all to attend the discussion and listen to the guest’s personal experience.
