The statement pointed out that Dina Rubina’s statements were shocking, as they considered that the residents of Gaza civilians should be dissolved in hydrochloric acid, and that the lands of the sector will turn into a car park, expressing their desire to eliminate everyone.

The administration confirmed that, according to the Russian TASS report, in the name of the Muslim community in Russia, which amounted to 25 million people and all its religious leaders, it is directed to the Federation Council, the Duma Council, the Public Prosecution and the Federal Investigation Committee to demand the evaluation of these statements in accordance with Russian law.

The statement indicated that the writer’s main source of income is a sale of his books inside Russia, where her books are printed in major Russian publishing houses and sold on electronic platforms and in major libraries.

The administration called on Russian cultural institutions, such as the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Writers and the Russian Book Federation, to issue a clear position and respond to these provocative calls.

She also appealed to publishing houses such as Eximo and AST and library chains such as Chitai-Gorod and RESPOBLICA, in addition to digital platforms such as Litters, Laperrent and Yandex Box, to stop cooperation with the writer and stop promoting her work.

The administration described Rubina’s statements as a justification for ethnic cleansing, genocide of the civilian population and an explicit call for such actions, and the statement stressed that the lives of human beings, including children who die in Gaza as a result of the bombing and the lack of medical care and hunger, are much more important than the profits of the publishing sector.

The administration concluded its statement by certainly that the Russian people, who defeated fascism in 1945 and raised the deep human literature of Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky and Shikov, cannot be a sponsor of a book glorifying fascism and promoting genocide and mass killing.
