On Friday, the US State Department started to lay off more than 1,300 employees as part of a radical reform, by order of US President Donald Trump.
An internal notice from the US State Department stated that the layoffs will include 1107 civil service employees and 246 foreign service employees, and this comes at a time when the ministry is carrying out a radical reorganization in the framework of the broader efforts of President Donald Trump’s administration to reduce the size of the federal government, according to CNN.
Hundreds of offices will be canceled or modified as a result of the changes that were carried out starting from Friday, and that the employees will receive the hairstyles via e -mail, according to the network.

The notice stated: It will leave nearly 1300 employees of the workforce their jobs in the context of reorganization, and this number includes employees who are separated from the service, in addition to the employees who voluntarily leave.
The notification added: In the context of reorganizing the ministry announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the first time on April 22, the Ministry is working to simplify the internal processes to focus on diplomatic priorities.
He continued: The number of employees’ reduction operations are carefully designed to include non -basic jobs, repeated or excessive offices, and offices that may achieve great efficiency through centralization or combining jobs and responsibilities.
According to the notification, foreign service employees receiving the workforce reduction will be granted, on Friday, a 120 -day administrative leave before they officially lose their jobs, and most civil service employees will be granted a 60 -day vacation before their demobilization is applied.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Thursday that reorganization was probably implemented in the most organized way from any other party.
