High and civilized societies are those that are keen to build strong and human ties among their members, based on the basis of mutual respect, coexistence and compassion. The coherent society is not only measured by the extent of its economic progress or material construction, but it is measured first with its social fabric and the spirit of one family that inhabits the hearts of its members.

Here, the smart role of governments, whose mission is not limited to providing services or ordering the system, is reflected, but rather to pay in the direction of collecting everyone under one umbrella called “the umbrella of the homeland”, regardless of the differences and differences that are a natural feature of any living society. The real homeland is that in which everyone feels, whatever his affiliation or background, as an inherent part of its tissue.

The most important pillars that make societies coherent are “compassion” among individuals. This deep value is not just a slogan, but a daily practice, and behavior is based on sympathy, respect and generosity. Bahrain has always been a parable in this field, as the Bahraini person was famous for kindness, humanity and generosity, so these values became part of the national identity, which everyone cherishes.

And when the prevailing voice in society is a voice that calls for respecting the other, rejecting hatred, and urges compassion, we are in front of a mature and conscious society, realizing the meaning of coexistence and the importance of preserving its internal stability. Here, the cohesion between the citizen’s awareness and the government’s keenness, through its various devices, highlights the strengthening of unity and ensuring social stability.

The Ashura season in Bahrain is a living model for this cohesion. This occasion, which is repeated every year, has always been a space in which the meanings of generosity and communication are manifested, and the values that represent the essence of Bahraini society are highlighted. Ashura is not only a religious occasion, but a national and humanitarian case that reflects the harmony of the Bahrainis with all their spectra, and confirms that pluralism does not mean the division, but it may be a source of richness and integration if it embraces awareness and love.

However, if it appears from time to time, the voices of cacophony, seek to increase hearts and exploit occasions to spread discord, forgetting that Bahrain does not tolerate this tension, without not wanting it. We know that these people do not care about the good or stability of the country, but rather the image of a coherent, loving society, who chooses to live in peace.

Consequently, today we desperately need to strengthen our unity, revive the values of compassion and tolerance, and make a positive environment in which our children arise on love and true belonging. Education for peace and the love of the other is not the responsibility of one party, but rather the responsibility of every individual who lives on this good land.

We salute every rational and patriotic voice that is interested in the future of Bahrain, and believes that our land must remain a beacon of peace, as it was since ancient times. Dilmun land, the land of eternity as described by history, will continue to be beating with the beautiful values that formed the spirit of this country.

Here we proudly recall the words of our leader and our king, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him, when he wrote five decades ago in his book “The First Light” that he dreams of “a homeland that includes all his sons.” It is not a wonderful sentence, but rather a deep vision of a society that goes beyond differences, and unites the love of the country.

We love Bahrain, we love its leader, and we love everyone who lives in peace. Our dream is simple, but it is great, that our country remains a paradise that prevails in security, and the dignity of man is preserved, and everyone lives in pride and contentment.
